    Pidurangala, Sigiriya, Dambulla

    After breakfast, explore UNESCO World Heritage Site Sigiriya, a 5th-century wonder linked to Prince Kashyapa. Begin at the water garden, pace through the boulder garden, and ascend the majestic rock, passing the mirror wall bearing graffiti, spectacular Sigiri frescos, and gigantic lion paws, and reach the summit for panoramic views.

    In the afternoon, visit UNESCO World Heritage Site Rangiri Dambulu Rock Temple, a testament to artistry and rich history. Each cave in Dambulla reflects unique features that reflect the cultural contributions different kings have made in the past.

    As the day ends, return to your hotel.

    Day 5:

    As the train snakes its way through the picturesque Hill Country, you’ll be surrounded by lush, green tea gardens. Take in the stunning scenery and the fresh mountain air. Don’t forget to take some photos of the vibrant tea plantations. The train will make stops along the route to allow you to capture the beauty of cascading waterfalls.

    One of the highlights of the journey is the iconic Nine Arches Bridge. This architectural marvel offers fantastic photo opportunities. As the train passes over the bridge, you’ll have a chance to capture its design.

    You can spend the day as you wish – either continuing to trek or relax in the hotel.

    After breakfast, you’ll check out from your hotel in Ella and begin your journey to Udawalawa National Park.

    Arrive at Udawalawa National Park, renowned for its great sightings of Sri Lankan elephants. You’ll embark on an exciting safari adventure within the park, where you’ll have the chance to observe magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Keep an eye out for other wildlife too, as the park is home to various species.

    If you are a bird enthusiast, Udawalawa is a paradise for birders with its 210-bird species. Don’t forget your binoculars and camera to capture the vibrant birdlife.

    After the safari, you’ll continue your journey by road to Koggala, located on the southern coast of Sri Lanka.

    Upon arrival in Koggala, check in to your hotel and unwind from your day of exploration.

    You have the whole day to relax in Koggala. After breakfast, you can remain in your hotel or explore the surrounding area. Enjoy fresh seafood, golden sunset and much more.

    Day 9:

    Mirissa

  • Wake up early and head to the Mirissa harbour, where your exciting day begins. The boat rides for whale and dolphin watching typically start as early as 6 a.m., so be sure to arrive in time.

Keep your eyes peeled for a variety of whale species, including sperm whales, killer whales, bryde whales, and the magnificent blue whale – the largest creature on Earth.

    Begin your exploration of Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll through the cobblestone streets and admire the well-preserved Dutch colonial architecture.

    Make your way to the Dutch Reformed Church, a historic building with a serene atmosphere. Explore its interior and learn about its history.

    Head to the Maritime Museum, which is housed in a 1671 Dutch warehouse. Here, you can learn about the maritime history of Galle and its importance during colonial times.

    Start your day with some retail therapy. Colombo boasts an array of shopping options, from modern malls to boutique stores. Consider visiting Barefoot, Paradise Road, Dutch Hospital Shopping Precinct, Lakpahana.

    Choose from the wide range of dining options in Colombo for a delicious lunch. The city offers a diverse culinary scene, including international cuisine and authentic Sri Lankan dishes.

    Visit the National Museum of Colombo, also known as the Colombo Museum. Explore the museum’s extensive collection of artifacts, art, and historical exhibits, which provide insight into Sri Lanka’s rich cultural heritage.Visit Isipathanaramaya Temple, a typical Buddhist temple in the City.

    Head to Galle Face Green, a popular seafront urban park. Take a leisurely walk along the promenade, enjoy the ocean breeze, and watch locals flying kites or indulging in street food.

    For dinner, you have a wide range of dining options in Colombo. Whether you prefer international cuisine, seafood, or traditional Sri Lankan flavours, there’s something to suit every palate.

    If you’re interested in experiencing Colombo’s nightlife, consider visiting a rooftop bar, nightclub, or live music venue. The city comes alive after dark, offering entertainment for all tastes.

    Day 14:

    Departure


    Depending on the time of your flight back home, head to Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) for your departure. The journey to the airport may take around 30 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic and the location of your hotel.

    Arrive at the airport and complete the necessary check-in procedures. Board your flight and bid farewell to Sri Lanka. Take with you the memories of a wonderful journey through this beautiful and culturally rich country.

    • In the event of currency fluctuation or an amendment in local Government taxes or any fuel price hike, we reserve the right to amend the tour price accordingly. Any such differences will be communicated to you.
    • The rates have been calculated based on the hotels mentioned in your itinerary. Accommodation at the specified hotels will be confirmed only when we advise you of the confirmation and once we receive your acceptance. In the event any of the above-mentioned hotels are not available at the point of confirmation, we will be compelled to book alternative accommodation, as similar as possible. Should there be a difference in rates – supplementary or reduction, it will be passed on to you.
    • Any increases in Park Fees, Fuel, Sales Tax, or VAT, third-party costs beyond our control in the range specified in our quotation will be subject to change without prior warning.
    • All guests must obtain comprehensive travel insurance, covering themselves for personal accidents, personal effects, medical and emergency travel expenses, cancellation, and curtailment.
    • All guests must comply with international insurance requirements by ensuring that the airline tickets clearly show the passenger’s title, surname, name, and initial (as indicated in their passport). This applies to both scheduled and chartered flights. All guests must provide us with this information when confirming the tour/s.
    • We will organize your internal flights. While we take the utmost care to ensure a safe and comfortable journey for you, Endless Escapes is not responsible for the fitness of the carriers or the safety standards of the carrier company.
    • In compliance with international insurance requirements, Endless Escapes can only make seat reservations, whether on a provisional basis or confirmed basis, on domestic, scheduled, or chartered flights.
    • You will be responsible for any breakages caused by you or any member of your group during your stay in the accommodation. It is your responsibility to rectify the damage or make full payment to the supplier before your departure.
    • We reserve the right to charge USD 100 per change in the event of you wishing to transfer to another tour, change a confirmed booking, or alter your travel arrangements in any way. This is in addition to any cancellation or other charges levied by operators, suppliers, or airlines. The charge applies whether or not we are successful in confirming the amended reservation.
    • While we will use our best endeavors to provide all travel arrangements as confirmed, reasonable changes in the travel arrangements may be made without notice to you if deemed necessary or advisable by us at our discretion.
    • Cancellation of your travel arrangements by you must be notified to us in writing and will take effect the day we receive it. The following penalties will apply depending on the number of days before your travel arrangements commence:
      • Between 41 and 60 days – forfeit of deposit
      • Between 30 and 40 days – 50% of the total ground arrangement cost
      • Between 20 and 29 days – 75% of the total ground arrangement cost
      • 19 or fewer than 19 days – no refund of the total ground arrangement cost. No refund is available to you for cancellations after the commencement of your travel arrangements or for any services not used for any reason. Cancellation policies differ according to each hotel and boutique property. A 100% non-refundable cancellation fee will be charged accordingly.
