Day 1:

Colombo

  • Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport. A representative from Endless Escapes will greet you and take you to your chosen 4/5-star hotel in Colombo, the capital city.

    Relax at the hotel to recover from jet lag. Depending on your arrival time, you can take a stroll at Galle Face Green as the sun sets or dine at the hotel and retire for the night.

    Exploring Colombo

  • Start the day with breakfast at your hotel. Take a city tour of Colombo, exploring historical and cultural sites. Enjoy some retail therapy by visiting modern malls and boutique stores. If you’re interested in nightlife, consider going night clubbing in Colombo before retiring for the night.

    Day 3:

    Transition to Galle

  • After breakfast, visit the Colombo Museum for a dose of history and culture. Depart for Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the 17th Century Galle Dutch Fort, strolling on the historical ramparts by the sea. Explore the Fort and enjoy gem and jewellery shopping. You can visit the Dutch Reformed Church and Maritime Museum within the Fort.

    Retire for the night in Unawatuna.

    Day 4:

    Unawatuna and Yala National National Park

  • Begin the day with an early morning safari tour. Enjoy a picnic breakfast provided by the hotel. Continue your wildlife exploration in Yala. After the safari, journey to Nuwara Eliya, known as “Little England.”

    Experience cool climates, rolling mountains, and endless tea gardens. Retire for the night in Nuwara Eliya.

    Day 6:

    Transition to Kandy

  • Take a morning stroll in the hotel gardens to enjoy the misty hills. Visit Victoria Park if you're a nature enthusiast. After breakfast, check out and drive through scenic landscapes in Nuwara Eliya passing waterfalls, Lake Gregory, Golf Links, and the iconic Post Office of colonial architecture.

    On your way down to Kandy, stop at “Tea Factory” and enjoy a finest cup of Ceylon Tea. Experience a tea garden and learn about the tea production process.

    Arrive in Kandy, Sri Lanka’s last kingdom. Visit the Temple of the Tooth and its Museum. Experience traditional Kandyan drumming during the pooja. Study the intricate wood carvings and mural paintings, unique to the Kandyan era.

    Retire for the night in Kandy.

    Day 7:

    Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and Dambulla

  • Wake up early to a stunning sunrise over the picturesque valley in Ella. The morning light over the misty hills is truly breathtaking.

    After breakfast, take some time to explore the rolling hills of Ella. You can choose to go for a leisurely stroll to enjoy the serene surroundings or opt for a more adventurous hike to one of the nearby viewpoints for panoramic vistas.

    You can spend the day as you wish – either continuing to trek or relax in the hotel.

    After breakfast, you’ll check out from your hotel in Ella and begin your journey to Udawalawa National Park.

    Arrive at Udawalawa National Park, renowned for its great sightings of Sri Lankan elephants. You’ll embark on an exciting safari adventure within the park, where you’ll have the chance to observe magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. Keep an eye out for other wildlife too, as the park is home to various species.

    If you are a bird enthusiast, Udawalawa is a paradise for birders with its 210-bird species. Don’t forget your binoculars and camera to capture the vibrant birdlife.

    After the safari, you’ll continue your journey by road to Koggala, located on the southern coast of Sri Lanka.

    Upon arrival in Koggala, check in to your hotel and unwind from your day of exploration.

    You can enjoy dinner at your hotel to savor some delicious cuisine of your choice. You might want to wind up early as the next day’s programme begins very early.

    Day 8:

    Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa

  • After breakfast, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site Sigiriya, the 5th century BC rock fortress. Explore its water garden, boulder garden and admire world-renowned Sigiriya frescoes. Observe the graffiti inscribed on the famous mirror wall by visitors from the past. Ascend to the summit striding through the gigantic lion paws for breathtaking views of the surrounding emerald forest.

    Continue to Polonnaruwa, an ancient kingdom. You will explore the remnants of the Royal Palace, and marvel at the extraordinary craftsmanship of bygone artisans through the island’s most revered Buddha statues carved into the living rock at Gal Viharaya. Also visit Thivanka Buddha Statue, Lankathilaka Buddha Statue, Atadageya, ruins of the ancient library Pothgul viharaya, seven-story palace, lotus pond and much more.

    Retire at a 5-star hotel in Habarana.

    Day 9:

    Anuradhapura

  • After breakfast, drive to Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka’s flourishing kingdom dating back to 377 BC. Visit the magnificent stupa Ruvanvelisaya, believed to enshrine the world’s largest amount of Buddha’s relics, Jethavanaramaya, the tallest structure in the ancient world after the Great Giza Pyramid, and the world’s oldest living tree – Jaya Sri Maha Bodhiya. Explore the world-renowned Samadhi Buddha statue, intricately carved moonstone, and the twin ponds. You will see some of the gigantic water tanks that have been built by various kings of the bygone era.

    Retire for the night.

    Day 10:

    Departure

  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Depending on your departure time, either stop over at a 4/5-star hotel on the Negombo beach or head straight to the airport.

      Customers are responsible for reading the supplier’s terms and conditions, including booking conditions. You agree to abide by the terms or conditions of purchase imposed by any supplier with whom you elect to deal.

    • All prices are quoted in USD. Payments can be made in USD, Euro, GBP, or LKR. Payments can be paid either by a bank transfer or credit card.
    • Validity periods of the tours are as per the PDF. A fresh quote will be raised in the event bookings for two rate periods are made.
    • Rates cover the specific items in the itinerary.
    • All prices are subject to change as per Government, Hotel, or Airline policies without prior notice.
    • In the event of currency fluctuation or an amendment in local Government taxes or any fuel price hike, we reserve the right to amend the tour price accordingly. Any such differences will be communicated to you.
    • The rates have been calculated based on the hotels mentioned in your itinerary. Accommodation at the specified hotels will be confirmed only when we advise you of the confirmation and once we receive your acceptance. In the event any of the above-mentioned hotels are not available at the point of confirmation, we will be compelled to book alternative accommodation, as similar as possible. Should there be a difference in rates – supplementary or reduction, it will be passed on to you.
    • Any increases in Park Fees, Fuel, Sales Tax, or VAT, third-party costs beyond our control in the range specified in our quotation will be subject to change without prior warning.
    • All guests must obtain comprehensive travel insurance, covering themselves for personal accidents, personal effects, medical and emergency travel expenses, cancellation, and curtailment.
    • All guests must comply with international insurance requirements by ensuring that the airline tickets clearly show the passenger’s title, surname, name, and initial (as indicated in their passport). This applies to both scheduled and chartered flights. All guests must provide us with this information when confirming the tour/s.
    • We will organize your internal flights. While we take the utmost care to ensure a safe and comfortable journey for you, Endless Escapes is not responsible for the fitness of the carriers or the safety standards of the carrier company.
    • In compliance with international insurance requirements, Endless Escapes can only make seat reservations, whether on a provisional basis or confirmed basis, on domestic, scheduled, or chartered flights.
    • You will be responsible for any breakages caused by you or any member of your group during your stay in the accommodation. It is your responsibility to rectify the damage or make full payment to the supplier before your departure.
    • We reserve the right to charge USD 100 per change in the event of you wishing to transfer to another tour, change a confirmed booking, or alter your travel arrangements in any way. This is in addition to any cancellation or other charges levied by operators, suppliers, or airlines. The charge applies whether or not we are successful in confirming the amended reservation.
    • While we will use our best endeavors to provide all travel arrangements as confirmed, reasonable changes in the travel arrangements may be made without notice to you if deemed necessary or advisable by us at our discretion.
    • Cancellation of your travel arrangements by you must be notified to us in writing and will take effect the day we receive it. The following penalties will apply depending on the number of days before your travel arrangements commence:
      • Between 41 and 60 days – forfeit of deposit
      • Between 30 and 40 days – 50% of the total ground arrangement cost
      • Between 20 and 29 days – 75% of the total ground arrangement cost
      • 19 or fewer than 19 days – no refund of the total ground arrangement cost. No refund is available to you for cancellations after the commencement of your travel arrangements or for any services not used for any reason. Cancellation policies differ according to each hotel and boutique property. A 100% non-refundable cancellation fee will be charged accordingly.
